Dobrotvorno oko Srbije (DOS Srbija) 2025: Cycling for a Better Future

Serbia, September 2025 – The second edition of Dobrotvorno oko Srbije (DOS Srbija) has successfully concluded, leaving behind not only 1.080 kilometres and 6.442 meters of elevation gain, but also lasting inspiration for children and communities across Serbia.

From September 7th to 11th, 14 cyclists rode through the country in five demanding stages. Three of them completed the entire route – a remarkable feat of endurance and solidarity. Each participant contributed to the project’s main goal: promoting recreational cycling and encouraging healthier lifestyles.

The final stage carried a special meaning. The team visited Osnovna škola Triva Vitasović Lebarnik in Laćarak, where pupils received the illustrated story “Biciklista koji je promenio svet”. The visit was symbolic – the illustrator of the book works at this very school – and it created a powerful bridge between the message of the project and the imagination of children.

Numbers tell part of the story: 1.080 kilometres, five stages, 6.442 meters of elevation, two flat tires, two insect stings, and one broken spoke. But what remains most vivid are the friendships, shared moments, and the smiles of children who welcomed the cyclists.

This year’s project once again proved that sport and charity can go hand in hand. The organisers extend their sincere gratitude to all riders, partners, sponsors, and supporters who recognised the mission and made this journey possible.

Together, we pedalled for children’s future. Together, we made a difference.
